This is fairly common, especially with those whose bloodlines come from certain soecific areas in Europe including Ireland. There are many new bits of info coming out about this. It may be worth looking into.Martiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16004772285067920959noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4129406.post-40955189057890070172009-05-31T08:05:43.042-05:002009-05-31T08:05:43.042-05:00Tonya,

I am no help to you since we still have no clue what is wrong after two years, but everything you describe sounds just like her. Are your inflamation levels really high? That's what it sounds like. Christi's are aff the chart. Have you tried to go gluten free? That's what we just got done trying here, but it didn't seem to help at all.

I truly feel for you. I hope you get some answers soon.

MartieMartiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16004772285067920959noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4129406.post-36899084199823424892009-05-29T10:13:25.270-05:002009-05-29T10:13:25.270-05:00Tonya, I'm sorry to hear you're having such a roug...Tonya, I'm sorry to hear you're having such a rough time, and I will definitely keep you and your whole family in my prayers. I hate to add to the whole string of suggestions here, but I imagine something's gotta be right, right? I just happened to be talking to my mom about Lyme's disease last night. What you've been describing sounds really similar to what I've heard about it. I've also heard that is it SUPER hard to diagnose. If you've ever been bitten by a deer tick or think you may have been, you may want to look into it. The good news about it is, they do have a treatment for it that will really help with it.
Again, I will be praying that God leads you and your doctors in the right direction, and that you can figure out what is going on with you and get it fixed! Hang in there! Much love and hugs to you.sarahgracehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09238734592533601926noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4129406.post-75863418915886001802009-05-28T22:12:17.519-05:002009-05-28T22:12:17.519-05:00Tonya, I am so sorry you're hurting. In the meantime, I'll also pray for strength to get through the days and for you to start feeling better.
Love and hugs,
Happi

P.S. I just read what Jody wrote (Kari's friend), and she's right. That may be a really good book to check out (The Maker's Diet). Jerry has researched that guy and read the book, and I think he has some really good ideas for nutrition and such. I also agree with another poster about food sensitivities versus actual food allergies. Might be worth investigating...Happihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03657269510484517445noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4129406.post-78247211854935932942009-05-28T18:39:29.476-05:002009-05-28T18:39:29.476-05:00I'm so sorry you're still dealing with this. My friend, Kari, over at Thing 1 and Thing 2 has you linked on her sidebar. It is just a quick trip from there.

Anyway, I'm sorry to hear you have been feeling so bad. I have no medical background so am in no way an expert. I did want to tell you that I once read a book called The Maker's Diet that is based on a natural diet. I was experiencing IBS and someone recommended the book to me. I didn't follow it, but took some good ideas and advice away from it. I don't know if it was written by or based on the story of a man experiencing a lot of different symptoms and had been diagnosed with Chron's. He was basically given a death sentence by docs and sent home to die. His dad found a nutritionist who said he needed to live by "God's diet." I just googled to look for the author and found a connected website www.makersdiet.com Please feel free to take or leave this information. The book has been around a while so you can probably find it at the library. I'll be praying for you.Jodyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07493665532285353985noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4129406.post-76444060492406878482009-05-28T15:27:15.736-05:002009-05-28T15:27:15.736-05:00I don't know what you've tried/not tried, but I th...I don't know what you've tried/not tried, but I think the idea of a gluten/dairy free diet even if just for a trial run of 4-6 weeks would be a good idea.
Another thing that has helped me (with symptoms much milder) is to start acidophilus. I have heard the refridgerated kind is best. I get that kind and take a pill 20-60 minutes after I eat 3 times a day. After 2 weeks of this any stomach upset I have been having will be completely gone. I find that I need to do this about 2-3 times a year. Feeling as bad as you are, it would be worth trying those two things as they would be fairly simple and not much effort wasted if they don't work.Singlemommahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03233406718376379150noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4129406.post-48832602487774560942009-05-28T13:31:35.585-05:002009-05-28T13:31:35.585-05:00Often times food "allergies" come back negative. ...Often times food "allergies" come back negative. That doesn't mean that you don't have food sensitivities. I would try a gluten/dairy free diet for a few weeks and see if you notice a difference. So I'm not thinking it has to do with something being left inside. I really feel like it is food related. Though they did test me for a wheat allergy and it came back negative. It is so scarey when they can't tell you what is wrong. Have they looked into the possibility that something could have been done wrong during the surgery. I've heard those horror stories where people have suffered in pain for years over a tiny leftover sponge or something that was left in their body. It sounds crazy, but could it be something like that?Singlemommahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03233406718376379150noreply@blogger.com
