On Friday I told the kids that over break we were not going to watch television, play computer games, play the wii or use their ds'. I even told the kids that while they were awake I would not go on the computer either. We are starting the no electronics rule Saturday evening as that afternoon they are having some friends over while the parents go out for lunch and I took them to the library Saturday morning (Jeff worked until 3:30am and it was easier to keep the noise down not to be here!) and let them get a movie to watch. I figure that way it will be easier on my sister as she watches them if they are docile while in front of the boob tube. She will have 6 kids ages are 11, almost 10 in Jan, almost 10 in Feb, 8 1/2, 5 and 3. I plan to have Peanut sleeping by the time she gets here so she will really only have 5 kidlets to keep an eye on :) Though I am really excited to bond as a family. Since we didn't take a vacation over this summer I feel as if the kids are just disconnected with each other and really mean to each other. I am going to do some family building type activities that they already know about. I think it will be fun!!! I guess I will let you know after the week is up if we survived. But like I said I will use the computer once they go to bed but I am going to only give myself an hour on it so that I can get enough sleep that I won't be cranky. Also this post was scheduled so that I did not break any of the no computer rules ;) YEAH for family bonding!

Babysitting was bad on Saturday and we are working at getting to the bottom of what really happened.

Ahh Life is so good...busy but GOOD!

I love the busy-ness of the fall I think that is one of the reasons it is my FAVORITE season. Plus it means my birthday is soon, Thanksgiving and Christmas are just around the corner too! How can you NOT love it. The changing colors the cooler weather but not too cold. It is prefect to me. I have a few minutes before I need to go pick up the two youngest from school so I thought I would update the good ole blog! I think I will do a person by person update as well. We'll start with the kids and then the parents :)

GlamorGirl: She is in 4th grade this year and has her first male teacher. She has talked about having him as a teacher for years and she is so excited she finally has him...haha. He doesn't believe in a whole lota homework which is AWESOME. Everyday she comes home with stories of the day and things they are doing and learning in class. I think it is going to be a great year for her other than the fact that her two besties are in the other class. She will make new friends, she is like that! And it isn't like she never gets to see her besties because they eat lunch together, have gym together, and recess together. Things are going good for her.

Monkey: He has one of my favorite teachers at that school. I say one because I have A LOT of favorites :) I have talked to her a few times already this year about his eyesight and other things. She told me that he is a very bright student and very smart like his sister. Last year his grades were rough and it really bugged him to the point he stopped trying. I think this year will be MUCH more positive for him. He is also in class with a bunch of his friends who were in a different class last year so he is happy about that. Time will tell but I have a really good feeling about this year for him as well! He loves going to school this year which is so neat to see and he has started to enjoy READING. Yay!

Red: This year has started off really rocky for him. This summer I tried my hardest to get him to continue reading but he is so stubborn and would just sit there or moan and groan to the point I just stopped trying. It is showing to be his downfall this year and he is REALLY struggling in his reading. I have talked to his teacher several times about his reading homework. They read it in class first and then at home. But you would think he never saw the material before when I sit down with him. Last night I started doing something different with him to help him. We read the homework twice and then we do the next days reading once. I make him do the phonics flash cards too. He hates it but I think if we keep doing it he will get better and feel more confident in his reading and then it won't be such a power struggle for him to do his reading. UGH This could be a rough year for him but I really hope not.

Peanut: She is LOVING preschool. She gets really sad on the days she has to stay home but I'm not ready for her to go everyday. I like having one on one time with her a few days a week. She has been getting extra pages send home with her that I am going to keep for next year when she isn't in school. I have decided that we are going to hold her back so that she is the oldest in her class and not one of the youngest. There are other reasons but that is a whole separate post! I just can't believe she is 3 years old. She has such a BIG personality too for such a little person. Red's teacher Mrs. R told me yesterday she saw Peanut with her friend Kate (who is Mrs. R's granddaughter), Kate ran up to Mrs. R, "Grandma!" and gave her a hug so Peanut ran up to Mrs. R "grandma" and so Mrs. R gave her a hug too. Peanut has adopted many of her friends grandparents which is so funny to me! She's not shy that's for sure.

Me: I'm running around like a crazy women now that school is in session. I try and get all my errands done on the days that all 4 kids are in school. I only have one present to buy for Christmas and my immediate family is done. Such a great feeling. Still need to talk to the extended family and see what we are doing about presents this year. Then I'll know how many more presents I need to buy still. Tonight is the first night this week that I am cooking a meal. Monday we went out with my dad, Tuesday was Peanut's birthday dinner, and Wednesday was AWANA clubs and they serve dinner there! After dinner I am going out with some ladies, can't say anything more about that. ;) Friday my friend and I are going apple picking, then Friday night is the first night of JAM (jr. high ministry at church) outreach night, we are doing Minute to Win it, it should be so fun. Saturday we have a birthday party. Sunday we have church and another birthday party. Then the next week should settle down where we only have something Wednesday night and Friday night...though I do want to take the kids to a pumpkin farm one day after school. It is cheaper on the weekdays than the weekend. Then that Saturday is Peanut's friend party. See I'm busy!!!

Jeff: Schools have started so his job has gotten busy again too. He has meetings at night which is either days off or overtime. He has been doing a lot of training days too. He has the day off for Red's first field trip this year and so he will go with him. Jeff and I are going away for a weekend with a bunch of couples from church. We are both really excited about that. As far as church goes, he stepped down from Sunday morning worship (very happy about that) and sparkies, he is doing JAM, kids' Sunday morning hour worship, and has a role in our Sunday School class.

Life is good and God is good. We are so blessed...

Packing Packing Packing then...

Unpacking unpacking unpacking that is what we have been doing. One night we stay at the “old” house the next we stay at the “new” house. I can’t wait until we only have one place we lay our heads, not that I’m not grateful to have the other house to live in and get healthy again in.

Can I just say that I hate funerals? Especially when they for family who are so young, in the last post I said she was 20 I was wrong she was 22 not that it makes a huge difference she is still gone. The only nice part about something like this is getting to see extended family even if everyone is crying. At the luncheon a girl I used to play with during the summers was telling me she thought she saw me at Disney in September. Her face was priceless when I told her I was at Disney in September and told her the dates I was there. She said, “Then I wasn’t crazy for thinking I saw you. Cause I really did.” One thing I wasn’t aware was going to happen to me was seeing my grandpa’s brother Larry (they look very much alike) at the wake and missing my grandpa so much I just started crying. Just thinking of that encounter is making me cry. Lastly I want to write my most vivid memory of my cousin Jessica. She is 9 years younger than me and in the summers when we went to my grandparents farm you weren’t allowed in the house unless you had to use the bathroom. My Aunt Penny and Uncle Mark lived at the house at the farm. One summer my Aunt Penny let me be her mother’s helper with Jessica (the baby of 4) she was about 2 years old and was on a medication for some sort of sickness. My Aunt told me not to let her have milk because of the medication she was on. Well Jessica wanted milk for breakfast. She had a bowl of cereal (not sure if she got it for herself or I got it for her) she also had an empty cup. She wanted milk in. I told her she couldn’t have milk and that her mom said she could have orange pop. She let me pour her the pop and then dumped it in her cereal and then demanded milk in the cup. She never got the milk but she did eat the cereal. She was definitely a girl who knew exactly what she wanted. I am happy to know that she is once again able to dance, run, talk, and do all the things she has missed out on the last 7 1/2 years since she was in a horrible car accident. She is resting in the arms of Jesus with her best friend Jackie, who died in the car accident.

Amazed

I know I have been saying this a lot but I am truly amazed at what my kids have been eating. Though I guess they really don't have a choice because I don't buy processed food. Tonight for dinner we had the brussel sprouts and Peanut had 3 helpings! I think one of the other kids asked for more as well but I can't remember which one. This was the first time any of us have eaten brussel sprouts and it was a good experience. J actually said he would definitely eat that again! Though he always adds, "this would be really good with chicken" to all of my vegetarian meals. But I am doing the only vegetable meals to save on spending so much on meat! The quinoa was a great side dish. The recipe was simple too. I know I promised to give you the Chicken and Sour Cream recipe but that will have to wait for now. Here is what we had tonight!

2 lbs brussel sprouts (halved if they are big or whole if they are small)
1 lb tomatoes chopped, take the seeds out
one onion
one clove of garlic
butter
one pint of heavy whipping cream
1 tsp basil dried if you use fresh do 2 tablespoons
salt and pepper

Saute the onion and garlic in butter until browned. Add the brussel sprouts and tomatoes and saute for about 5 minutes. Then add heavy whipping cream and seasonings, cook until the brussel sprouts are tender. I made quinoa separately and mixed it in. The cream sauce was really tasty!

Other than that the kids and I had a great day at the Botanic Garden. It was 83 today. We packed a picnic lunch and got us some sun and fresh air. My favorite part of the day was sitting by the water watching the biggest carp I have ever seen. GG had a stick she was holding up to the water and one of them jumped for it. She shrieked so loud. It was too funny. Then we came home and played outside the rest of the day until it was time to make dinner!!! Today was perfection in my opinion ;)

The Peace of God

As you know, we have our house on the market. We have gone through a price negotiation with first time home buyers that just ended because they refused to come up any higher. We have had so many showings about 40 in the last 4 months. Through this whole process I have felt at peace. Which is so strange because normally this is a high stress situation (paying two sets of bills) and having a longer commute and other things. I know this peace comes from God and God alone. I was reading my friend Melissa's blog the other day! Hi Mel :) She had such a great post about living a Christ like life well there were two posts. It really spoke to my heart especially the part where she talks about how do I want to be remembered? As a good wife and mom? As a nice person? Those are great things to be remembered for but what does that really say about me as a person? They are pretty long posts so grab a snack but they are really worth the time to read. The power of God's peace and love and any other of His attributes is so powerful and I want to share that with the world.

Recently my sister-in-law and her two sons came for a visit. It was such a great visit. Though in talking with her I quickly got saddened by the realization that they will probably never be moving here. They have a strong conviction not to take on any more debt. Which is completely honorable. I totally get why but that also means that they don't see moving to a place where the cost of living is doubled even if the pay is higher as well. As much as it hurt to hear that they will probably never move here I knew that God was in control of everything and if he wants them here they will be here. So I committed myself to praying that the Lord's will be done in their lives even if it means they stay there. Selfishly I want them here. My kids have 6 cousins and not one of them live close. All their grandparents are close but they don't have play mates. See totally selfish!

Visitors

We have been busy these last few weeks with some out of state visitors. My sister in law and her two boys ages 4 years old and 6 weeks came to visit. They are staying with the in laws. It has been fun to see the baby and let the cousins spend some time together. Somethings that stick out in my mind since they have been here are as follows. Wednesday Peanut and I went to pick them up for a McDonalds play date. It had snowed about 10 inches. Well the driveway was shoveled all but the entry way. I tried getting in and got stuck. A truck pulled up behind me and was not going anywhere because I couldn't move. He offered to help get it out of the snow. Then he pulled out his snow blower from the back of his truck and proceeded to snow blow my in laws entry way. My father in law was outside when all of this was going down but his snow blower had just broken which is why the rest of the snow wasn't gone. It was just an interesting situation but God provided this man at the right time and I am so thankful. That same day I got to hold the baby in his sleepy wrap for about 2 hours. I loved it. Thursday we took the kids to Chuck E Cheese for some fun. My sis in law had never been, EVER. It was a fun time even though the baby had a blow out of poop!!! Today my older nephew went to Red's Valentine's party with him. When the party was over I took him home and Peanut, Red and I stayed for awhile. All four kids napped and Virginia and I talked. It was really nice and relaxing. When my older two got home I was shown a picture on my husband's phone of GG's art project with a blue ribbon. She had won first place in her grade. I know I am a little biases but it was really a good drawing. Also the kids came home with Valentine's balloons they had bought for J and I. It was so sweet of them. They secretly took money to school out of their piggy banks. Oh speaking of piggy banks. On Monday I had an errand to do at the bank and Peanut was with me. She kept calling the bank a piggy bank it was so cute.

My Organics have arrived!

I am so excited. I am trying a new thing for my family. I ordered all our fruits and veggie through an organic farm and they delivered them to my door! I have occasionally bought different organic fruits and veggies at the store when I go shopping but never all of them. When I was unloading all the goods I couldn't believe the quantity and variety. I'm amazed and so happy I did this. We got in our box, a pineapple, 8 pears, 13 plums, 2 bunches of bananas with 5 in each, cucumber, 2 tomatoes, 3 potatoes, 4 bunches of greens (lettuce), bag of carrots, bunch of celery, squash, and a head of cauliflower. My fridge is FULL! We get a box every other week. I might change it to every 3 weeks...we'll see! Right now I'm just so excited about the healthy food and can't wait to start using it.

On a totally different topic, I've been reading this book called Aaron's Way it's about the journey of a strong-willed child written by his mom and him. As I'm reading I think that I might have at least one strong-willed child if not two...haven't finished the book yet. But I think I might have been one. It says that these children see the world as black and white/right and wrong. They don't like it when people change the rules or are unfair. I have a hard time if people change something on me without warning or reason. Then on the other hand when Aaron explains the reason he did things as a child I don't get it which probably means I wasn't a strong-willed child. I'll have to ask my parents what they think I was as a child...or maybe not! Anyway, it is a really good book written by Kendra Smiley and her son Aaron who is now an adult.

The baby...

Have I mentioned how much I love this little girl? She is just the sweetest and lovable little person. She knows how to win people over by holding her little hands up to them and giving her money making smile. She melts hearts, I tell ya. Well today on our way to church J had his guitar under her seat and she started kicking it and we told her no. From that point on she held her feet straight up in the air so that they didn't touch the guitar at all. It was the funniest thing and our trip is about 20 minutes. I kept trying to get her to put her feet down but she wouldn't so silly that little one.

As I was typing that I remember something that Red said to me tonight after he had already been in bed for a half an hour. He says, "Mommy I need to tell you something." I go in there and he proceeds to tell me that his friend Grayden puked in Wee Church this morning and that he touched it. How gross. Why would you touch someone else's puke if you weren't cleaning it up? Silly kid. I just hope and pray that we don't get sick with that and that if we do it is over by Friday.

GG is getting so excited about her birthday. J and I just got her present this weekend and J needs to put it together sometime this week so she can have it on Saturday. Other than that she has a report for school about a country in her heritage. She chose Italy. She is such a perfectionist. So did not get that from me, but totally the reason she is a straight A student.

Oh I have great news to report on Monkey. After only a few days with his new pillow and cover and mattress cover he can almost clearly breath out of his nose when his mouth is closed. I am so happy that we don't have to put him on medicine. And this little boy is obsessed with Lego Star Wars for the Wii he doesn't even play it that much because he only likes to play with daddy but he talks about it ALL. THE. TIME. Put it this way he named the Webkinz that he got for Christmas Luke Skywalker. Hmm wonder where he came up with that name. Ha!

J is still working day shift and we are still loving it. He is able to help at home with dinner, homework and bedtime. I couldn't be happier.

Lastly I wanted to mention that my Friday night out was a BLAST. We went to PF Changs for dinner, it is Chinese food, if you were wondering. Then we went to see Bride Wars. It was a really cute movie, a little cheesy, but exactly what you would expect from a PG movie. Ok now that the title of this post doesn't make much sense anymore. Too bad I'm not changing it!

Snow Day

What was to be the kids last day of school turned out to be a snow day. So they will get to have their Christmas parties and program (pre-school) in January when they return. That should be fun! It was a little interesting this morning with all 4 kids home because I needed to make so many cookies and brownies for various events and gathering over the next few days. They did really well playing together and keeping Peanut occupied so I could cruise on the baking. I got everything done by lunch time. I made 6 dozen chocolate chip cookies, 5 dozen snicker doodles and a double batch of butterscotch brownies! I only ate one cookie too. I left the cookies for our families consumption on the table with no lid on it and the next thing I knew Peanut had it on it's side and had two cookies, one in each hand! I was being nice and let her have one of them but I ended up eating the other since she took a bite out of both of them I couldn't put it back in the container. When she saw me coming she tried to run from me with both cookies and ended up braking them each in half. I have been trying to get her singing on video because I swear she is singing the Happy Birthday song. When I get it you'll have to let me know if I am crazy or if she really is singing that!

Tonight J told the kids he was going to take them sledding so we'll see if that happens. He said to me that he wanted to clean the house since we won't be home tomorrow and Sunday we are having company over. I am thinking that I will stay home with Peanut and clean and he can take the other three? We'll see. I would like to go and take Peanut for the first time. She has a really cute purple snowsuit though she can't stand in it! And I'm so excited because right now my nephew and bil and sil are on there way here. They have to drive 15 hours to get here but they'll be in town by tomorrow and my older brother and his family are coming in tonight. I will get to see them tomorrow for the whole day! I just wish they lived closer. Maybe one day. If I'm not on here much it is because I am enjoying the company of family.

Blessed.

I feel overwhelmingly blessed. Yesterday we went to church and then went to my in-laws house for the afternoon. I just love being with them and having the kids get to know them. Then we went to night church were I was in a skit. I was so nervous but I guess it went ok. Only one more week of these skits. After church we got invited to a friends house. It ended up being everyone except two people from our small group, plus our kids. We had a blast and the kids loved hanging out with the church kids some more. While we were at their house we got a phone call saying that my sis-in-law was at the hospital. She is on a youth trip this week in Kentucky, I believe. As soon as I got off the phone and relayed the message to everyone there we prayed for her. About 20 minutes later got another call saying she was being sent home from the hospital. They needed to watch her to make sure she doesn't have a concussion.

Another happening: While we were at our friends house a little girl pinned Monkey down and kissed him on the lips. This little girl was at the party on Friday and was taking to playing with Monkey over the other little girls there. Also Friday night she was at our house while her parents were on a date and she wouldn't play with GG at all, she was glued to Monkey. This little girl is only 6 months younger than Monkey so they are closer in age but the last two times she was at our house before this she only played with GG. What can I say he is a handsome little boy :) Not to mention very fun to play with!

Yay! We're DONE.

Can you tell, at all, that I am excited that the garage sale is over??? We did quite well in my humble opinion. Yes, I just typed that out instead of using the abbreviation. Now we just have to figure out what to do with ALL the stuff we have left. There is still a ton in our garage.

GG and Red went to a beach birthday party today and it was really fun. It rained this morning and was looking like it wasn't going to be a good day but by the time the party started it was so nice out. The kids had a great time playing with their friends and I, of course, had fun socializing! I love being the mom :) I feel so blessed to be surrounded by great friends and family. And I just talked to my sis-in-law and they are planning on moving here way sooner than we thought and I am super excited about it. A cousin for the kids to actually have around. Well I need to go practice my part for the skit tomorrow night at church. I feel like there was something else I wanted to get down on the good ole blog but I can't think what it was at this moment! I need me some sleep.

Family Reunion

Today was my dad's side big family reunion, you know the ones you go to and you don't know who most the people are because there are So. Many. People.They are second and third and so on cousins and in-laws and what not. It rained on us a bit and it was a little on the cooler side of things but fun was still had by all! I haven't been to one of the reunions for 4 years...the last year I went both my grandparents were alive and a few days later they were both gone. Anyways, before we ate lunch they take pictures. My grandpa had 7 siblings (but one passed at age 6) leaving 6 siblings in adulthood, so what they do is take a picture of the families by my grandpa and his siblings families. Are you following me? Each year it is a competition of the 7 families to see who has the most in attendance by the pictures. Most year's my grandpa's family wins because he and my grandma had 7 kids and they had over 25 grandkids who are now having kids and getting married. Not everyone comes but our family picture had at least 50 people (just counted 53!) and there were still 6 other extended families there! See tons of people :) After we ate they played softball and Monkey and GlamorGirl got in on the action. They did a great job and actually hit the ball several times! Last Night!

I wish I had pictures to show but the batteries were dead in the camera I brought. I am kicking myself for not checking them first. At least she has one more performance so I hope to get some pictures then. She looked so sweet on the stage singing and dancing!

Looking forward to this weekend/week we are going to be crazy busy. We leave tomorrow just me, the 4 kids, and our babysitter to go to my grandparents Christmas gathering. We are spending the night in a hotel and then on Saturday is the family party at the hotel. We are coming home Saturday because we have to be at church early on Sunday morning for GG last performance. Then on Monday we are going to Winter Wonder Fest so the kids aren't going to school that day. I am really excited about it and J took the day off to come with us! Tuesday is our 8th anniversary, Wednesday is the party at Awana clubs, Thursday is GG's school Christmas program and then Friday is the last day of school for the year and their parties! Oh yeah and J's brother and family are coming to town late Thursday night. Then that starts another whole weekend/week of fun but that is looking to far in advance for me right now!

Conversation with a 2 year old

Yesterday after we picked up Monkey we went out to eat. On the way to the place Red says, "Are we going to Photo's?" He recognized the street because we go there often. I say, "Yes, we are you are so smart." To which he replies, "I not smart I cute." I ask, "Can't you be cute and smart?" He says, "No, you say I cute so I cute not smart." I think we have some work to do. :) He also has a different way to hang ornaments on our Christmas tree...this is the picture I took.

Home Alone!

J just left for the store and I'm home with the 4 kids by myself!!! Of course the only one awake is the baby! Nope scratch that she just fell asleep :) The chaos has already started and I love it. I was nursing the babe while talking on the phone when I realized she had poop on her dress! Since I can't move very fast or really much at all I had to have J take care of the mess. That is one plus to having a c-section...not that I would recommend one I think the other way is so much better. Anyways, I really got on here to show her off :) So without further ado our newest addition (and last Lord willing, unless we get a pet!)










If they went in the order I wanted it should be a picture of me right before we left for the hospital, her just out and in the position she was in my tummy, then her close up and her with me and daddy and her siblings, and her ready to come home. I just realized I didn't get a picture with me, her and daddy or all 6 of us together. Oh well she isn't going anywhere!

Slide show of our day yesterday we went to the zoo after church and then to a bbq with some people from church. It was a very fun day as prefect as it gets this side of heaven!

Saturday in the Park...

Well not exactly in the park but you get the idea. This morning we went to the library to cash in our first reading prize at our library. The kids each got a kid's meal at Panera so that is where we went for lunch. Then this afternoon I went to a baby shower. Jeff to the kids to the library the town over and cashed in their reading cards there for some more prizes. Just so you know I did sign the kids up at two different libraries. The prizes are different at each library and I don't let them double dip meaning that each time they read they only get to mark off one card not both. Yes, they love reading that much, to be able to do two different library reading programs! The school they go to encourages reading through out the summer and even gives them a sheet to write down all the books they read the sheet is almost full and summer isn't even half over. Anyways, after Jeff took them to the library they went swimming. My friends at the shower couldn't believe that he took *ALL* 3 of them to the library and swimming by himself. I do things with them by myself all the time and I'm pregnant! J is a really good dad and they are blessed to have him as their father. I am still learning about the things he did with them while I was on my women's retreat back in May. It is a little after 7 and he took Red to the video store to get us a movie to watch and GlamorGirl is in the shower and MonkeyBoy just got out of the bath and is getting ready for bed. The plan is to go to the zoo tomorrow after church since we will be in the city. I am going to pack a picnic lunch that they can eat in the van on the way and then we will spend the afternoon at the zoo!

Yesterday

Like I said, we left our house at 8:30am picked up our babysitter (she came with us so that GlamorGirl and Monkey would each have an adult to ride with) and we got to the park at 10 right when it opened. We went on the Big two story carousel and then to the Whizzer. When we got to the Whizzer we realized that Red was tall enough to go with an adult and GG could be by herself. Red loved it and didn't want to get off when the ride was over. Poor guy :) Then the kids went on a few barf rides, as J calls them, you know the ones that spin while spinning! I started to feel light headed, it was extremely hot with a heat index of 99.5 so we headed to an indoor theater for some air conditioning! Red and I stayed for another show so we could be in the air for a little longer. J and Jess took GG and Monkey on two rides while we watched the short movie again. Then we went out to the van and ate our picnic lunch. I felt much better after eating and cooling down my body temp in the nice cold a/c. We were headed to the Demon but the line for the Whizzer was super short so they went on it again. While they were gone I checked our map to see what we should do next. They got off and we decided that we should go to the water park since it closed in 2 hours. Jess took the two older kids to the water park because they all had swim wear on and just needed to take off the top layer. J went to the van to get the bag with our stuff in it. I took Red into an air conditioned store to get him to take a nap. It worked he was fast asleep by the time J got back. We called Jess to see where they were at in the water park and she informed us that GlamorGirl ran off and she couldn't find her. My heart stopped. We got to the place Jess was as fast as we could and I took the two boys while they looked. After about 20 minutes of not finding her I was getting extremely worried. J took Monkey with him to look for her and I took Red to the Lost Parents station to give a description of her and so on. That was the worst feeling in the world to have to say out loud that you have a missing child. Then proceed to tell them what she looks like height, weight, build, hair color and so on. I couldn't help but cry it was horrible. After about forty minutes we finally found her. When she saw me she started crying because she could tell that she really scared me. She wasn't allowed to go back into the water. At this point I had been in the hot sun for an hour with no shade and I was feeling it. I ended up going to the first aid station with GG while the rest of them swam, it was the only place in the water park with a/c. They gave me two huge drinks of Gatorade and let me sit in the air for as long as I needed. We stayed in there for about 40 minutes then we went back to get them. I took the stuff out to the van with Red and the rest of them were going to go on the Demon but Monkey didn't want to go so only J and GG went. When I got back I took the 3 kids on the train ride while J and Jess went on the Ragin' Bull. Then we went to an indoor show called Show Stoppin' it was just a bunch of singing and dancing but it was air conditioned :) By the time that was over it was 6pm and we were all hungry we got something to eat at the park. Then we went to Bugs Bunny land that had about 5 kid rides. Then we went to Cartoon Network area which had more little kid rides. Then I took the kids to the Wiggles World while J and Jess went on the America Eagle. When they got back the park was closing in 15 minutes so they took Red and GlamorGirl and went on the Whizzer one more time. Monkey didn't like that ride so we stayed in the Wiggles World and rode 2 rides and then went to meet them at the Whizzer. So apart from the fact that I am 6 months pregnant and it was a super hot day and GG getting lost we had a really good time. After dinner the sun went behind the clouds for the rest of the day and it was really nice and cool with a sweet wind that felt so good. Needless to say fun was had by ALL even the pregnant women who only got to ride 2 rides!

As for today we slept in and then went to get groceries and I'm planning on taking it easy today.
