I thought we had it but then it went away. We are hit and miss right now with our access to the internet. Just wanted to get on here and kind of document some of the things going on or planned.
I had an appointment with an infectious disease doctor, they are the ones who handle mold illnesses. I came in there with all my information and knowledge and she just kind of looked at me like, "wow you know way more about this subject then I do at this current point" I left feeling pretty good about the appointment but also left with nothing in my hand like I was hoping for, I wanted an anti-fungal medicine. She is going to do some research on the subject and talk to some colleagues who handle these illnesses on a more consistent basis and give me a call next week.
As for the new house things are going pretty good. Peanut's acne is clearing up, GG isn't getting headaches as often (was 4 times a week or more) and the boys aren't having as many tummy issues which is great. We are trying to figure out our diet to make everyone happy. The kids are getting a new doctor come Nov 1st and they have appointments scheduled so hopefully we can get them tested so we know what we are dealing with for them!
Our house is being packed and purged by my wonderful hubby. He is going into the house and pulling everything we want to try and keep and bringing it to the garage and wiping it down and then packing. We have been talking to a Realtor so that is moving along. We are hoping to get into the house a couple days here soon without kids to really get things moving along. She wants the house on the market by Oct 18th we are thinking Nov 1st might be a better time frame. We'll see.
Lastly, is our food issues. I am on a super strict diet and am trying to get the kids and my hubby to eat better too. I am trying to figure out the best place for the best price. I have been grocery shopping 4 times this week trying to restock our fresh fruits and veggies. I have learned that there are some things I will have to go to Whole Foods to get but my friend said that she does a co-op through them for cheaper so that could work. Then Trader Joe's has a lot of stuff we could eat for cheaper than WF but they don't have everything. Then there are things like eggs and most diary that I can get at Aldi's for the cheapest. It is all a learning process and I have many wonderful women in the church that have a lot of restrictive diets that are coming along side me and helping. One of the ladies had been making me almond bread. I need to get the recipe and start making it myself but she has been wonderful. Another lady walked me through TJ today and showed me around and answered any questions I had. I am hoping to get it all squared away and that our food budget will come down from this week which was almost triple what I normally spent before.

Glad you are figuring things out and on your way to getting settled! I hear you with the food thing- it's hard to find all the stuff you need, at the best prices, especially when you're trying to eat healthy! I figure it's worth it in the long run, paying a little extra, because it's hopefully money you will save in doctor bills in the future!
Glad things are looking up for you and your family:) I didn't see any acne on Peanut's face at school the other day...crazy, never heard of a lil' one getting acne!! Eeks!
Can you eat grapefruit? It's a natural anti fungal! Works wonders! Also google Honeyville Farms--that's where I buy my almond flour for breads and such. WAY cheaper than buying it at the store!
I love Trader Joe's...you are right, it's way cheaper than WF. Good to hear you are getting things together:)
It sounds like you are handling all of these changes quite well. Hope you are able to get the house on the market soon and your new shopping down to a science! Best of all, you are all starting to feel better!!
I'm glad everything is working out for you and your family. Hugs and Blessings!
You guys have a lot going on but ot sounds like have a firm grasp on things. That's great. I love trader joe's btw.
You sound very busy, but like things are all coming along nicely.
Sorry you left the doc. empty handed though, hopefully they will get back to you quickly. Good luck with the food budget.
I also read the post below this one, the family disney pics are great, and how wonderful of DH to surprise you with an early B-day gift.
It's so nice when you have people helping you with a strict diet and not hindering you. I'm always trying different stores trying to figure out how to eat healthy and still save money. Glad things are working for you!
Don't get discouraged about the doctor not knowing enough. My decades of experience with doctors for my mom has proven that the doctors who admit they need to study more and take the time to consult with colleagues are usually the best ones. They aren't proud, their info is the most current, and they aren't trying to hide anything from you.
still no internet?
