My brother, his two kids and his fiancee came to town this weekend. Friday night we went to my dad's for dinner and to hang out with them. This was the first time we all got to meet April my brother's future wife. The kids had fun together except Peanut because she got bit by my brother's son. I felt so bad for her. She has never been bit before and since then has been very clingy. I really don't blame her she wants to make sure she is protected.
Then Saturday we (most J and the kids) worked in the yard. I did however get an injury to prove that I did do work ;) We would of spent the day with my brother but they went on my dad's boat. It worked out good because we needed to get the yard work done. Then we had a birthday party from 5 to 6pm and my family came over for the fire pit and marshmallows and for the kids to play on the swing set!
Sunday we went to church and after wards went out to eat with another family. We put all the kids down on one end and the adults on the other! Their kids ages are 9, 5, and 2 and ours are 7, 6, 3 and 1. It worked out well because there were some older kids. Then we went to my in-laws and hung out until the evening service. When we got to church GG said her head hurt. We gave her a bucket and had her lay down in the couch room. I went to check on her about 30 minutes into the service and she was still hurting but laying there. About 5 minutes later J got up because he heard crying. I sat in the back so I could listen for her. We went to see if it was her and sure enough it was. She had thrown up into the bucket. I felt so bad I didn't hear her. She said she laid there yelling HELP. Then she got up and walked into church crying. The nice thing though is that everyone in church knows who she is and who she belongs too. When we went to check to see if it was her crying a girl from church was helping her in the bathroom. I love our church. Then J and I were talking on the way home about what could be the cause of these migraines. She has had them 3 times at church were she has thrown up. In all honesty I think she has thrown up at church as much as she has at home. Church is like home for us we are there quite often and I love it! I want to say that Monkey and Peanut are the only ones of our kids that haven't lost it at church :)

Our 4th of July!
First I hope that everyone had a happy, safe and exciting 4th of July. I know ours was jammed packed with fun! The only down side was GG got another migraine and threw up. This is the 3rd time in 6 months and I am getting really concerned. I've already taken her to the doctor once for this and I am going to take her again, because she is too young for this. Anyone out there have kids with migraines? Back to our day...first I got everyone up and ready for the parade, the three older kids were in the parade. They rode in the cop truck with daddy and I got a couple pictures of them but I'm not posting them. But here is Peanut watching the parade :) She's sporting red, white and blue with stars.

Then we had to leave the parade early to meet my dad and step-mom for lunch. Then it was home for the two little ones to get a nap. As soon as they woke it was to the fest for some rides. The older kids each got two rides. They all went on the swings which was Red's first year going on them and he was so cute to watch. Then he went on the Dragon rollercoaster and the other two went on Tilt-a-whirl with me. I also took Peanut on the big slide, she loved it! By the time we got done with the rides J was done working. We ran home grabbed our swim suites and off to a party we all went! We ended up getting home last night at 11pm. This year has been such a blessing to have J be able to watch the fireworks with us on the 3rd and then have him home at night on the 4th :) Here is another picture of the 4 kids from the 4th.

Sadness
I sit here completely heart broken and sad and every other emotion possible. Today started like every other day I check my email. I got an email from church, this is not uncommon as they give us updated prayer request. I was working in the nursery Sunday morning so I didn't hear that one of our missionaries was in the hospital with pneumonia. When I checked my email I got the details that I missed Sunday morning. This missionary and his wife are my age with a little girl a little younger than Red. They got married in our church and his wife was in our Sunday School class. The two older kids know who they are and remember them before they went out into the mission field a few years ago. All morning long I have been praying for this man and his family. My mom-in-law called a little while ago, it has taken me some time to process this all, saying that he is gone. That was really hard to type. HE. IS. GONE? He isn't even 30 years old. He was doing the work of God. Needless to say I am really struggling right now to understand all of this. I know that God is in control and that nothing happens that He isn't aware of but I just don't understand the WHY of it. This young wife and mother is going to need lots of pray in the days, weeks, months and years ahead. Please keep them in your prayers.
