Playgroup

It was so good to go today, it has felt like forever since we have been there, what 2 weeks?!? Our newest member was there a little girl! Some new happenings here: Red has taught himself to clap his hands. (or his brother, most likely his sister has taught him) GG is reading her 3rd reading book for school. Yesterday she hid her 2nd book in her locker because she didn't want to be the first one in the class to get the 3rd book. Turns out there are 2 other kids reading the same as her so she was ok with moving on this morning once Mrs. S showed her how cool it was :) After she gets done with this book she gets an award (trophy as she calls it) which she has talked about since she started the first reading book. Monkey is doing better at writing his numbers and letters and has really taken to sounding out simple three letter words. It has started to warm up here and I am hoping it won't be long and we will be outside riding bikes and playing!!! Oh yeah we finally got our taxes completed and I must say I am very happy with the outcome. We are getting GRASS!

Yesterday was J's first day off. Red and I went to playgroup like we always do on Tuesday mornings. Then we picked the kids up from school and went out to eat at Photo's, Yummy. Came home and had the boys take naps, because we got our family picture taken. Boy I'm glad we only have to do that once a year! I'll just say that Red posed the best. When we got home it was really nice out so J and GG went fishing and the boys and I played outside until dinner time. After we ate J was on the computer with Red in his lap and I was cleaning up the kitchen. The next thing I knew J had Red in the sling and he was vacuuming the kitchen floor for me. ***Warning TMI!!!*** J looked so HOT wearing Red and helping clean the kitchen. The best part is I didn't even ask him to help. I had a LLL meeting last night but I ended up not going. I didn't feel the greatest and I wanted to spend time with J, so we snuggled on the couch and watched television. I need to go I'll update more later.

Warning this may or may not be funny to you! But it was to us :) J and I were eating Walnuts and Monkey asked, "what are you guys eating?" J said, "Walnuts" Monkey then said, "Why are you nuts?" Ok maybe you had to be there but the way he said it was hilarious. This morning Red and I went to playgroup and two of our members were sick but we had fun anyways. This afternoon we are going to go outside so Monkey can "practice" riding his big boy bike. Last night he got it out and was able to peddle up and down the street. Before he would get stuck half way down the block and need help not anymore. He was so happy with himself so I told him we could "practice" some more today.

Today was our first playgroup. It was so much fun I can't wait til next week. I know our babies are only a few months old but they will get older and play with each other! Tomorrow is our next Bible study and I am looking forward to that and J is off so that is awesome too. Red and I are having fun this year!!! Tonight Roberta is coming over to watch the kids and some friends and I are going to the LLL meeting. Well I am going to go just wanted to quickly update.

Let's see today we got up and went to playgroup. The teacher Angie is pregnant and going to have the baby any day so we all brought her presents it was a total surprise to her. Then we came home and ate lunch then we all three took naps. J was at work he worked from 7am to 7pm. After we got up we played outside at the park. When the little ones were done swinging we decided to go to Wal-mart each of the kids got a toy while we were there. GG got a stroller for her baby dolls (for when we go on walks) and Monkey got a golf set. I also got GG a Christmas present. I have decided that I want to start early so that we can give the kids more presents than last year. They didn't get much because we didn't have money and we had like 20 some people to buy for. Anyway after Wally world we went to Farm King. I want to get Monkey a tool bench for his 1st birthday. Mary told me today at playgroup that Farm King is the only place in this town that she has found tool benches. They actually had three different types too. I have never seen the toy section in Farm King so I walked up and down the aisles. I found a lot of good Christmas ideas. The cool thing about it is that our friend Brad works there and can get us a discount. Rock on! So from here out each paycheck we are going to try and get the kids one present each. We'll see if that works. We have car insurance due in a few months. Tonight after dinner we took a walk and on our walk we ran into Kim and Kailey so they walked with us! GG loved it she got to use her new stroller, she is such a little mommy. She is just too cute with her babies walking them, holding them and nursing them! Speaking of babies today after we woke up from our nap she pointed to my tummy and said, "you have a baby in there too?" (a lot of her friends are having babies so I think she wants another one) I told her no and she asked if I could get one in there. That may take a little convincing of daddy :) I personally would like Monkey to be a little older. That is it for us.
