Excited

I learned how to knit! I only know how to do one type of stitch and I don't know how to read a pattern yet but I am in the process of knitting my first scarf. At this point in time I am absolutely LOVING it. On Tuesday morning after I dropped the kids off at school Peanut and I ran some errands Christmas presents that needed to be exchanged and what not and I stopped at the fabric store and bought a book to teach myself and some yarn and needles. By Tuesday night I had taught myself and I spent about 3 hrs yesterday knitting. I have some yarn coming in the mail that I got a great deal on 100% wool for 1.29, see great deal. I am going to make myself some wool dryer balls to help reduce the time of drying our clothes and they also act as a chemical free fabric softener. I am super excited about those. I saw a pack of 3 for 19.95 online and I will get to make more than 3 for less than $8 sweet! I feel so domesticated hehe. I also talked to the home ec teacher at school and she said I can come in and use the sewing machines to see if I like to sew before I go out and buy my own, which I will use my Christmas money for. This year is turning out to be very productive for me :) This is what I accomplished yesterday...
