Little bit of this and a little bit of that...

Last night before going to bed J bribed GG with a fudge pop if she would pull her tooth. It was pretty loose but it probably would of hung on for another week. Here she is with her first top front tooth missing. This morning I could see the new tooth so hopefully it will grow in pretty fast for her as she doesn't like the way she looks with teeth missing. As you can see the bottom two she lost have already come in. I'm just realizing that I didn't take the most flattering picture of her but you get the idea!

All the girls in the family painted our toes. Aren't they pretty pink?

Other than that today we played catch up with groceries, laundry and cleaning. It was good that this afternoon it rained otherwise we might have gone to the pool and not got anything done! I will say that going shopping with 4 kids is probably one of my least favorite things to do. I would rather have a dog bite my arm off. I heard so many comments today while shopping and they were such a wide range of comments too. The things people said that I remember but I know there were more:

1. You certainly have your hands full. (I hear this more than I care to hear EVER, why do people think that???)
2. Wow 4 kids grocery shopping you are a brave women.
3. It is so nice to see a big family shopping together.
4. A few older people were trying to help me with Red as he was getting a little disobedient towards the end. They said to him, "You better listen to your mommy". However he was too busy screaming being disobedient to hear them. He didn't want to hold Monkey's hand like I asked him to do while crossing the parking lot.
5. Them: All 4 of these kids yours? Me: yes Them: They are beautiful. Me: Thank you. Them: You have such a nice family. (That lady made my day!) She was talking to me as we were getting our deli and that is why her comments were longer.

I do think that I will do my shopping in the evening when J gets home and just take one or two of the kids or none at all!

Oh, I'm sooo right there with you! The comments vary- but I ALWAYS hear "You sure have your hands full!" I try not to go with all three kids either, but sometimes its unavoidable....sigh...
I hate to say it, but I'm looking forward to when Drew starts school so I can catch a little bit of a break with the shopping! (I hope.)

I worship the days I get to go to the grocery store alone. It's almost like a vacation.

We get all those comments plus my favorite (not really), "You gonna try for that boy?" and Hubby's favorite, "Do you know what's causin' that?". To which he always replies, "Yep, we just like it!!"

When I put the pic in the sidebar, it just hangs off the side :( Sorry to converse in your comments but I don't have an email address for you *hint hint* :)

I don't know how you do it! I get frustrated shopping with one kid. Sometimes I use bribery then. :)

I can't imagine 4!!! I get all sorts of comments shopping with the twins... which is all the time! I get:

1. are they twins (yes)
2. how old (2)
3. are they identical (no, it's a boy and a girl...)
4. they are so cute (thank you)
5. you've got your hands full (YES!!)

etc.... it's crazy.

I love the toes photo. If only I could get Abby to sit still for so long! It's great, and a keeper.

Tell GG that I think her smile looks great! So cute!

We get the "My, you've got your hands full" A LOT! I don't like hearing it either. So, I have started replying, "Yes, full of blessings!" And that's exactly what they are!

I keep taking all 4 of mine out shopping with me. Every time I think, "this time it will be better, I've learned things from last time." But it never gets better. They have a way of coming up with new ways of to make me long for the dog biting my arm off.

That picture of the pink toes is SO STINKIN CUTE!

I contend with a different sort of problem. Forget sales tax . . . I deal with the Cassidy tax, the Mackenzie tax . . . ugh. (Have you ever noticed how much more you pay with the kids in tow?) Not only is it easier to shop alone, but cheaper too!

Your kids are just too cute! :) I know all about those comments too. :) Most of the time I agree, my hands are very full. :) But, yes it is our choice.
Sometimes I so wish I had a girl to do girlie things with, like paint toe nails. :) I love the rough and tumble boys stuff though. :)
