There was a bed mattress on top of his foot as he is under the bottom bunk. How he did this I will never know. But we just had to take a picture of it. He was too funny as we were trying to figure out how to get him loose. At one point J says, "If worse comes to worse I can just cut him out." Yeah that started the water works as Monkey thought he was going to cut his foot off! He calmed down once we told him we would cut the bed. Which we didn't have to do. He was in there pretty good though, it took us about 10 minutes to get him out...

Oh my goodness. Poor baby! How did you find him? Was he calling for help or were you lookin gfor him?
Oh my...too funny...the things these kid do! Just his idea of getting some peace and quiet to play some toys under there...cracks me up! Glad no limbs were lost!!!:)
We heard a very faint cry for help! But Red was in the room trying to comfort him instead of getting us :)
Oh my goodness! Poor little guy!!! I hope he feels better. I'm sure Willy will get himself into similar circumstances.
Thanks for your comment--you are too right!
Hmmm. That is SO something Thing 2 would do. I'm glad he got out unscathed. ;-)
Ah, boys indeed.
I love that kids actually think we would cut off their extremities...maybe we should use that to our advantage!
LOL Aaawww poor thing.
Oh funny! This brings back memories of when I was a kid...my sister used to wedge herself into places like this, and then fall asleep. One time we were all in a panic trying to find her- looking all over the place and calling friends, only to discover she had fallen asleep between her bed and the wall. Nobody thought to look there!
OH that had to be scary! Poor lil man. =P
Oh my goodness, I can't believe he got caught like that. Poor kid. That sad face at the end just makes me wanna run right over and give him a hug.
Oh, poor thing. When we were little playing hide and seek, my brother got stuck in the washing machine. I remember being so scared. Glad it worked out!
