Sickness!
This is the first time in over a year I can say one of my kids is honestly sick. Peanut was up half the night coughing a very croupy cough. She has no other symptoms other than that nasty cough! The first time she started coughing we were still awake and Jeff went in to check on her. Then she woke coughing again about an hour and a half later. I went into her room and laid with her. I propped her head up with my arm and she was breathing really great. Once she was sound asleep and my arm was also. I headed back to my bed. A few hours later she was coughing again. I went in and laid with her again. This time I brought an extra pillow and put it under her head to see if that would help her and it did. I went back to my bed. An hour later she was up coughing and needing to use the bathroom. I had been giving her drinks when she had coughing fits. She went pee and I put her in our bed. It was about 4:50am. She coughed while in our bed and Jeff scooped her up and held her so she could breath without coughing. At some point he left and I didn't hear him! I always hear him in the morning. I tried to let her sleep as long as I could but as soon as the other kids get up she gets up. I have Red going to school all day today because we are having our small group over tonight and I figure it would be easier to keep the house clean if I only had one kid home! I hope to get her down for a nap earlier in hopes she will sleep longer. I have been pumping her full of natural immune boosters to help her. Well off to start cleaning :)

Busy Bee
that is what I have been. I am sitting at church right now while the two oldest are in children's choir and the two little ones are hanging out in the coffee house. Having no Internet has been somewhat of a blessing especially because we don't have a dish washer in our new place! I never realized how many dishes 6 people can use in one day!
Yesterday Red was home from school because he had a low grade fever on Monday night and he had a cough as well. He woke up without the fever but still had a pretty bad cough. It was nice in the sense that I was able to clean the house, get laundry done, get all the dishes cleaned and got dinner ready. Then I had to leave for a chiropractor appointment and get the kids from school. Then it was the 30 minute drive home and then homework, dinner, baths and bed. Then I had to make the lunches for today and finish the dishes from dinner. Simply put I'M TIRED!
Funny story about our new meals. I made a spicy chicken soup. It has chicken (obviously), onion, tomato, zucchini, and a few spices. The kids kept calling the zucchinis cucumbers. I was not about to correct them because they think they don't like zucchini. They all ate the soup. Though I did bribe them with dessert.
Today I worked in the garage going through more stuff and I got a lot done. While I was at the house our neighbor Jack came out. He has been in and out of hospitals and nursing homes for about a month and I haven't seen him in so long. I know I mentioned this before but he has been diagnosed with 3 different kinds of cancer. Since we are putting the house on the market I wanted to tell him in person instead of seeing a sign hanging on our lawn. It was one of the hardest things I have had to tell someone. We love Jack and Marilyn like grandparents. He told me he was sad to hear that and that he hopes we never sell it. I felt so sad. That is all of my update for now as it is Mom's night at girls Truth and Training and I need to get the kids to the locations they need to be at. Thanks for all your kind comments and encouraging words. There is a learning curve to this eating healthy business.

First Day of July!
I love July for many reasons. The first two being that J and Monkey's birthdays are this month. Others would be the fest, the fourth of July fireworks, and parade. It is also the month J and I started dating in 1996! Plus it is warm outside. I love being warm and not cold. :) Only a few more months and we will be on vacay!
Well last night I took Monkey into the doctor's office because he had a fever and complaining of his eyes hurting. When I looked at them they were blood shot and pink. GREAT. I know that pink eye is highly contagious so I wanted to take him and hopefully get him some meds to kill it. BUT. It is viral not bacterial so that means they can't give him anything. Ugh. I am hoping and praying that the other 3 don't get this virus because seriously the fest starts today and, and it is only 3 days away from the 4th! I want to take them to the parade and the fireworks. I felt so bad for my boy last night he so didn't want to be at the doctor's office he just wanted to be home and in bed.
Before all that happened we let June go out with a bang. Though we didn't do what was planned for the day a trip to Great America, couldn't get a sitter for the two little ones. Oh well. We went to the store to look for summer dresses for the girls and I for our trip in September. Then to the pet store. Which in turn set the kids on the I want a dog tangent. GG was trying to bargain with us saying that if she took care of the fish for a month and it didn't die could we get a dog. It was pretty funny. Today J showed her how to care for the fish, cleaning the tank and all. We'll see how long that lasts. I think if I have to remind her more than 5 times this month to feed the fish she didn't adequately take care of it. We haven't set the ground rules yet. Then we went to Chuck E Cheese for some play. We cashed in our all tickets totaling 3772. We have saved them for about a year. The kids got some pretty cool things. GG got this invisible ink pen. The boys got a rocket. We were going to do the fire pit but the doctor visit thwarted those plans. I'm excited to see what July has in store for us!

Bogus
That is what today was...I woke up at 4am with the worst stomach ache and when I went to the bathroom I knew I was in for a rough day. Without too much info let's just say I wasn't able to keep anything in me all day, it came out one way or the other. I will say though that Peanut did an awesome job having a sick mommy take care of her. She slept from 9:30am to 11:30am and then again from 2:45pm to 4pm when everyone came home. In between naps she cuddle with me on the couch. She also went poop in the potty again today. This evening J took all 4 kids to church and I stayed home and tried to sleep but my tummy was hurting so much I wasn't able to actually fall asleep. I really hope I can sleep tonight. I felt so sad about missing Monkey and GG's first Ark performance at church but I am getting a copy and I will hopefully get to see it live on Sunday morning. Well my hubs and kids are home with some Sprite for me. Later...

Want to scream...
Before I get into that I wanted to say that I have no idea how the boy on Sunday is doing, I have prayed for him often. I didn't know his name and even if I did I could call the hospital because they couldn't tell me anything because of privacy laws. The first thing the kids and I did when we pulled up and J jumped out was to pray for his recovery.
The part that makes me want to scream is the way I feel. Last night after I put the kids to be at 6:30pm, yeah J was out of town and I just couldn't handle them anymore. J left for WIU at 5:30am Monday, at which point woke me up and I couldn't go back to sleep. NOT happy about that. I got the kids ready took them to school and went grocery shopping. I should of known something was wrong with me because my grocery bill was really low, that always happens when I'm not feeling good and I just want to get it done. Though at this point I didn't really feel that terrible just tired, with good reason. So after all kids in bed I laid on the couch watching tv and that is when I started feeling achy and just not good. I was trying to wish away any sickness that might be trying to inhabit my body but this morning and right now tells me I lost the battle. I think part of the problem was GG slept in my bed with me last night. She woke up at midnight declaring she hadn't fallen asleep yet. I tell her to lay down and go to bed. Then again at 3:20am replay the midnight scene. And once again at 6am at which point I am up for the day. I can't fight off sickness if I can't get sleep people! **Note to self next time J leaves town don't invite another kid to sleep in your bed :)** I did go to playgroup this morning so that Red could wear off some energy. Then we came home for lunch which I didn't eat. Peanut feel asleep in the van so I laid her down gave Red something to eat and then went to lay down with him for naptime. As soon as I started to drift off she was awake. Oy. I brought her out to the living room still determined to get a nap I put her favorite 30 minute movie on. Didn't work too well but I did just get to lay and rest. The only bad part is that J won't be home until around 8pm so I am on my own for homework, dinner and bedtime again tonight. When he gets home I am making a rule that he can't go away during school time until the baby is at least 3yr but I would prefer 4yrs old.
So here is the most important part of the post. I need some tricks ladies as to how to get better fast. On Friday J and I are going to a Building 429 concert for my birthday. I'm going to go either way but I would love to be feeling better. Any remedies that you swear by? I take a probiotic daily, women's vitamin, and last night I took a B vitamin complex with extra vitamin C hoping it would help. Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated!!!

Daddy/Daughter Date old school!
**this was started on Friday**
It was old school because MY dad came to the house to pick ME up and take ME on a date with HIM! I haven't been out on a daddy/daughter date with my dad since high school. He used to come pick me up at my mom's house and we'd go out to eat and then drive 2 hours back to his house.
Let me just say that last night was fun. I got to go out and have fun. We went to a really nice restaurant and both of us got steak and I ate the whole thing, plus the veggies and mashed potatoes that came with, I was stuffed. Then my dad wanted to go to the Mall. He asked me what I wanted to do and joking around said, "I need to dye my hair and get rid of all the grays I have." Then I showed him my head of hair and we were off to get my hair colored. When we got there my dad suggested going blond. I've never been blond and thought sure why not! So here are the pictures of my hair today after I washed and styled it my way. The lady last night had it so puffy and just so not me.

GG and J don't like the color but the boys really don't have an opinion and Peanut just loves me anyway I am because I'm her mom! Then after the hair adventure we looked at Game Stop at all the different Wii games. I really want to get Rock Band for the kids this Christmas. I think they will have a blast playing it but we'll see. Then we went to Land's End and I got a new swimming suit. I was so excited...I have been drooling over these suits for a long time and now I have one and I love the way it fits! I think I will trying and get another one next summer so that I have more suits to wear during the summer. We go swimming a lot and having different suits is fun for me :) Sorry no pictures of me in my new purchase. But it is pink like my toe nails and looks like an outfit. I love modest swim wear.
**The first reason this post was not posted on Friday was because I was meeting my friend Kristin at the pool and she reads my blog and I didn't want her to see my hair on here first! I know I'm a stinker. The second was while we were at the pool I got a really bad headache and started feeling sick to my stomach, not sure if I got dehydrated or what the deal was. It was just a big mess. We have 8 kids between the two of us and I couldn't drive myself home. I thank God for great neighbors who came and got me and the kids and then stayed with the kids until J got home. I went straight for the bed in pain. I couldn't even sleep because my head hurt so bad and my stomach felt like I was going to throw up which unfortunately I did about 4 times. This morning I woke up feeling a little sick to my stomach but as the day has gone on I am feeling better. We were suppose to go on the boat with my dad and step mom but I wasn't sure the boat rocking would feel that great. So we went bowling with them and then out to eat for lunch. I even got to take a nap, thanks to my wonderful hubby who ordered me to go lay down.**

8 month check up...
I killed two birds with one stone today, love when that happens. I had made an appointment for Peanut to have her well baby check up last week and she ended up getting sick over the weekend (I don't love when that happens). She was up all night Saturday night and the only time she slept was for about 30 minutes at a time while being held in the recliner. J and I took turns holding her, with him holding her most of the night. It just so happened that he was having trouble laying down and breathing so he needed to sit up to sleep too. I called the doctor (early Sunday morning) and they told me what things to look for to make sure she wasn't getting worse and that she wanted to see her Tuesday, which she already had an appointment! I found out that my chunky monkey weighs 18lbs 13oz...it's always nice to know how much weight you are carrying around all day long :) She is a hair over 29 inches. It looks like she just has a virus that is on it's way out of her system. However, Red woke up from his 2 hour nap with a fever, OY. Oh yeah and my toe doesn't hurt as bad today but it is way darker in color...such a pretty purple. I have an appointment tomorrow to make sure it isn't broken.

Answers sort of...
I went to the doctor yesterday to make sure my lungs sounded clear, they did which is good. But I'm in pain. So they tested me for the flu and sure enough that is what I have. Explains all the chills, aches, pains, and sick to my tummy feeling I have been having. Now I just have to let it run it's course. I guess it's nice to know what is ailing me.
Last night was GG perform with the Ark Children's Choir, Hons Bronson. It was really cute. GG of course nailed her singing part and dance. I was a little upset that the battery in the camera was dead and I wasn't able to get her solo on video but she performs again on Sunday! I'm not sure if I mentioned this or not but she got a solo in the school program too. The girl has ALWAYS loved music. She used to cry when a song ended on the radio and she would dance to commercial that had background music! It is so exciting to see her talents develop and be used to honor and glorify God and not self.

Update...
***Updated***
This morning Saturday both Peanut and Red woke up with fevers so it is back to the doctor with them and GG. We are getting them all strep tested.
Well at the doctor's office they did a strep test and it came back negative but they sent one out for growth. I got the call today telling me Monkey's culture came back positive. Which means he has been contagious for 3 days now and is still until tomorrow at noon. I just really hope and pray that the rest of the family doesn't get it. We were advised to get everyone tested though so I went today and it came up negative in the office so we'll see what Monday brings for my test. I just want to make sure we don't pass it back and forth. If I come up positive I am going to insist on Peanut getting one done as I am in contact with her all the time.

I'm tired!
We had another rough night here. I'm not trying to complain but I would really like to get more than a hour of consecutive sleep. I get the baby to sleep about 9:30 and I made a phone call that lasted about 30 minutes. I climbed into bed around 10:30 which isn't bad. Just as I fall asleep Red starts screaming, "MOM MOM MOM" I jump out of bed not even really knowing what is going on. I run into his room and ask if he has to go potty. He says no. I give him a big hug and kiss and snuggle with him for a few minutes, in which time he is out cold. I realize it is after 11 which my husband should be home, he isn't. I go check my phone and see a message from him saying he will be late. I go back to bed but the commotion has woke up Peanut and guess what she did? If you said pooped you would be right. I change her and lay down to get her to sleep again. About an hour later Red starts screaming again and he stopped before I realized what has happening but he woke his sister up again. And she pooped. At this point I believe it is 1am. I change her and put tons of diaper rash cream on her butt, because I wanted to nurse her to sleep and that tends to make her poop. After 10 minutes of nursing she starts making her poop grunting sounds and she pooped AGAIN. Have I mentioned it is GREEN poop? I think she has another virus, grr. My hubby gets home at 2am waking me a little, but not enough to keep me awake. This morning I have GG in my room telling me Monkey is sick. I tell her to let daddy handle it because he is taking them to school and I need sleep and don't want Peanut to wake up, you know?
Fast forward to noon when we get Monkey from school. We all went. I put decorations in GG locker and then we went to get fruit shakes at the local coffee shop. While we were in the store Monkey says his tummy, throat, and head hurts. We get home and I take his temperature 99.9 well I guess he isn't going to church tonight. He doesn't want to eat lunch, now I know something is wrong. GG has to go to church tonight because they preform next week for children's choir. I get all GG's rides to and back figured out and make Monkey a doctor's appointment. I am hoping that when we go I can ask about Peanut's night time green pooping episodes. Right now Red and Monkey are both sleeping. Monkey stopped taking naps at 3yrs old and only takes them now if he isn't feeling good. I'm just worried this is going to start the epidemic of sickness through our house again. They did send home a sheet the other day saying that Chicken Pox are breaking out at school. Even if you have the vaccine you can still get it, is what the sheet said. I don't believe we gave that vax to Monkey anyways. I hope to update after the appointment.

Trip to the ER
Peanut and I got some bonding time tonight. She is still having diarrhea and it has almost been 2 weeks. Earlier today I had noticed she has started coughing a little. After her nap I laid her down to change her diaper and she was having difficulty breathing, she was gasping for air. So I sat her up and she started coughing a barky type cough. I looked at J and said, "I think she has croup." Made call to doctor and shortly thereafter we were on our way to the ER. We left the house at 6pm and got home at 9:45pm. While we were there they took a stool sample to test for the rotovirus = negative and took a swap from her nose to test for RSV = negative. They also did a chest x-ray on her. I have never seen a baby get x-rayed but they put her in this little chair that looked like a mini electric chair. They velcroed her onto it around her chest and belly. Then they had me hold her hands down while they took it then they had me hold her hands up in the air. It was one of the strangest things I have ever done. The x-ray came back good. The doctor said her cough was croup so they gave her some steroids and a breathing treatment as well as some prescriptions, one hopefully will clear up the diarrhea! I did learn that the older kids (GG and Red) probably have croup as well. I didn't think older kids could get it but the doc told me they can get it up until they are 12 years old. Tomorrow we are headed to the doctor's office with the three kids. I am the most worried about Red as he has it really bad. I hope the breathing treatments help him along with any prescription the doc gives us. I just want us all to be better. Can you hear the whine in my words. Seriously, I am so sick of everyone being sick. Did I mention that J is actually not feeling the greatest either? HE. NEVER. GETS. SICK. All I have to say is Spring Where are YOU???

A little of this a little of that
Well I took Peanut to the doctor yesterday and she was 17 pounds! I couldn't believe how big she is. I had to take her in because she isn't feeling good and isn't her happy content little self. I woke up Sunday morning with terrible stomach pain, I'm guessing is what she has as well. Plus, she has had runny nasty poop and she has been pooping between 15 to 20 times a day for the last 4 days not so kind on her behind. I have been using water to wipe her instead of wipes and changing her immediately after she poops as to not let it get on her bottom. This is easily done because she only wants to be held. The doctor checked her out and told me she has a virus. Nothing he can do it just has to run it's course. My stomach doesn't hurt anymore but I have a nasty headache that won't seem to GO. AWAY. I just feel bad for her as you can totally tell it is killing hurting her butt. So if you think of us say a prayer for Peanut and me as she isn't sleeping well at night and I'm tired.
Today we had a parent/teacher conference with GG's teacher. It was really cool to hear how she is doing in class. She was telling us that they make stories up in class and that GG is one of the most creative story tellers in the class. Yeah she is definitely filled with DRAMA! She also told us that she has the kindest most caring heart she has seen in a child her age. She is always the first to help people with their work or picking up toys and so on. We, of course, think she is pretty special so it's nice to hear her teacher thinks the same thing!

I've been MIA
Since I posted on Tuesday I came down with the worst stomach flu I have ever had. It was seriously debilitating. My stomach still feels upset this morning but not as bad as the past mornings. I hope and pray that I am on the mend of this because I really want to enjoy Christmas morning. Well I wanted to get on here and tell everyone Merry Christmas.

Happenings...
I haven't been on here in a few days because I was sick. Oh how I hate being sick, especially with a newborn. Well, I felt better on Tuesday but took that day to fully recover. But there have been things that I have wanted to write about!
Red is the kind of kid that will eat anything at least ONCE! We went out to eat with my dad and he had gotten a tuna sandwich. My dad gave Red a bite and you could tell by his face he didn't like it and wanted to spit it out. I told him to swallow it and I would give him a drink. Then about 5 minutes later my dad asked him if he wanted another bite. In Red's sweet little voice he says, "I don't like it." It was too funny. This is the conversation J and Red had the other day.
Red: Daddy you have a shoot gun?
J: Yes
Red: Do you shoot the bad guys?
J: No Red
Red: Can I watch a movie?
GlamorGirl has started a club at school with another little girl and they have a song, that they made up. It doesn't really make too much sense but it is all theirs :) Last night she came home got a singing solo and speaking part along with the dancing solo! She was so excited.
Monkey has really grown up this year being in school without his sister around. Last year they had recess together and now they don't see each other at all during the day. He tells me that his favorite thing is recess because the kids always play what he wants to play, soccer. But everyday he comes tells me something from Bible class, his teacher is 90 years old and I can tell Monkey really thinks he is a neat guy with all the stories he tells the class.
Peanut has really started to show her little personality and she is such so sweet. She smiles ALL the time and I love it. Someone said that she is interactive and I would have to agree! I can't believe that tomorrow she will be 6 weeks old. Her best friend was born on Tuesday. Their second child is the same age as Red and they are best buds and so we just figure the girls will be too. Plus girls weighed the same at birth so they already have that in common!

Update...
Remember how I said that Red was throwing up on Sunday? Well Tuesday night after Bible study I told J I didn't feel good. Now I hadn't been throwing up for almost 2 weeks so the morning sickness was over with. Around 10:30pm Monkey woke up crying and shortly thereafter started throwing up. Something about the sound of him puking made me loose it. I ended up throwing up twice but EVERYTHING came out of me. There was no more that I could possibly throw up. Monkey on the other hand ended up throwing up every half hour almost like clock work. From 10:30 until 3:30 it was every half hour then he was ok for a few hours and threw up again at 5:30 then he was done. At around 3am GG woke up and threw up all over her bed and hair and EVERYWHERE. I was sick and not feeling good. J got her bedding up and in the wash and then gave her a bath and then Monkey threw up again. I got out of bed to help him into the bathroom with his bucket. I gave it to J and told him I had to go lay down because I felt like I was going to pass out. J is the MAN. He took care of all 3 of us without complaint and he did it somewhat lovely. I think he was getting a little frustrated around 4 when everything seemed to settle down and then Red woke up. He put Red in the bed with us (he was no longer puking) and the other two were on our bedroom floor so J could help them when they needed to throw up. Each one with their own puke bucket. Then Wednesday the kids seemed to be feeling better. They didn't eat anything and both took a long nap. I wasn't feeling horrible just weak and tired. But by Wednesday night I was throwing up again. I didn't sleep at all Wednesday night, I just laid there with my eyes closed praying that God would help me fall asleep. My stomach hurt so bad and it was grumbling. Thursday J took the day off of work because I got up to use the bathroom at 6:30am and I had to throw up before I could go pee. I then was able to sleep for a few hours in the early morning. When I woke up I was on a gatorade diet for about 4 hours and thought I could try some dry toast. Took 3 bits and threw up. Back to square one...wait for stomach to settle and only drinks. At 8:45 I was so hungry. The midwife told me that when I took a drink and it didn't upset my stomach then I could try food. It had been almost 8 hours since I had thrown up and I wanted food. I got an apple and peeled the skin off and ate it. Then I laid down and went to sleep...my thinking if I sleep before the food starts to digest and make me feel sick then I will keep it in. Well it worked because I slept for 7 hours straight without getting up. I was so happy I haven't done that in so long. I ended up getting about 10 hours total. I feel so much better. I was suppose to go get blood taken on Wednesday morning but since I was sick and throwing up I couldn't. The kids have 5th disease going around there school and it is extremely dangerous to pregnant women if they aren't immune to it. So the test is to see if I have the antibodies already in me. Well I went this morning with J, by the time I got from the car to the place I was feeling dizzy, super weak and my heart was racing. I was nervous about them taking blood. J says to me, you have been in the bed for the last two days, haven't eaten hardly anything and have been throwing up, of course you are going to feel weak...your not 100% better yet. But I have eaten two meals so far! I still am feeling a little queasy but so much better. I praise God and thank all of my friends that have been praying for me. God really answered our prayers.

What's been happening...
Well I think it is finally time to update this blog! Saturday and Sunday I was knocked off my feet with a really bad flu that didn't allow me to eat anything and if I did it came up almost as soon as it went in. Not cool. I totally hate throwing up. I have such great support from my family and friends it is so comforting. They totally took care of me and the kids! Actually right now Aunty Becky has the kids at gymnastics because I didn't know if I would be up to being out that long. I am still pretty weak from the violent throwing up that occurred.
On to a happy note...remember I said that kids didn't have school on Friday?! Well J took the day off and we took the kids to the Children's Museum. It was a great time. When we got there the first floor was closed due to the fact that they were getting a new exhibit called The Blue Man Group making waves. The media was there and the Blue Man Group actually preformed. We got to see it and it was really cool. I guess we came on a good day except for the fact that we didn't get to go into the new exhibit, it opened on Saturday for the public. At one point in the show one of the Blue men came walking up the stairs where we were sitting and GlamorGirl squeezed my arm and Monkey moved really close to me. It was funny. After that was over we walked around to the different rooms and after lunch we went into a room that had a photographer for a newspaper. We were the only people in the room and so he was taking our pictures and J signed a release form to use any pictures they wanted in their brochure. So we might be in the Children's Museum's new brochure...they will contact us if the use any of the pictures. It was a really fun day. Well I am starting to get tired so I am going to go lay down, got to take advantage of the fact the baby is sleeping and the other two are out of the house. Quietness = priceless

I'm SICK :P
I hate being sick and especially when throwing up is involved. My sweet husband took the day off to help with the kids which I greatly appreciated. I got on here because I didn't want to forget what Red did yesterday at lunch. We went out to eat with grandma and some friends from playgroup. When his plate was empty he held both sides of the plate and pretended to drive it like a car, complete with "beep beep" sounds a car makes. It was really cute and it entertained him so well!

We have Sickies
GlamorGirl and Monkey have taken turns throwing up. GG has gone in the toilet and Monkey made it once in the toilet and half in his bed and half in the toilet per J running him into the bathroom at 5am this morning. J took Red to the store this morning and I am here with the sickies! It is ok with me because I was able to get all my laundry done that has started to pile up because when you come home from vacation with a weeks worth of clothes to clean plus, the clothes you wear everyday, added with puked on items (blankets and pillows etc) it piles up FAST! I am really hoping that Red doesn't get it because he will just spew where ever he is and that is no fun. I could handle Monkey's few drops on the bed and floor, even though his bedding had to be washed. So pray that my little man doesn't get what they've got. I have to look at it on the bright side they got sick during Thanksgiving Break so they don't have to miss school.
We have been pretty busy, J took his sister driving last night she just got her permit and I guess I am suppose to take her tomorrow. So far everyone that has driven with her has had a near death experience so we'll see how tomorrow goes! We took the kids to the school's basketball game last night and they lost that was a bummer but we had fun cheering them on. There was a megaphone there and Monkey was screaming different things into it that made us laugh. He said things like, "I'm watching you guys" "Play better" and "Go C. L. A. Go" He was having fun and we were getting a good laugh!

No computer!
I just realized that I didn't turn the computer on yesterday. I don't think I had a chance with everything that was going on. We went to church came home and literally shoved food in our mouths and went to a gymnastics birthday party. When it was over I called J to see what he was doing and we met at a store so that we could spend some time with him...added bonus he showed me something he wants for Christmas. Now I just have to get back over there and buy it and then his stocking will be full. We are only getting stocking stuffers for each other this year because we are getting a nice camera for our trip to Disney, which will be our present for each other. I do have a feeling that Christmas morning I am going to have other presents under the tree though. He spoils me! Then we came home and Amy came over and we hung out and played some games, well we got to play one game because then Red woke up from his nap. That pretty much summed up what we did yesterday.
Last night Red had a rough night sleeping. I think he might be getting sick like Monkey was because the poor kid could not get comfortable for the life of him. He tossed and turned until 2:30 before he finally completely crashed from exhaustion. I didn't even hear the alarm this morning. J got up and got the kids ready and took them to school. I am going to have to do that Thursday and Friday because J is going to be unable to help me. I can't believe his surgery is in 2 days. I am a little nervous about whether I am going to be able to handle him in that condition. He is going to be so needy and the kids already are that needy. Please pray for me, I'm going to need God's strength to get me through those days. For the rest of the day we really don't have much planned. The kids have gymnastics right after school and homework. I'm hoping to be able to play more games with them.

Sickly
Our Monkey-man missed school the last two days because he was sick. Poor little guy was coughing and hacking so bad. He seemed to be doing much better today after his nap so we went to the Volleyball game so Monkey could get out of the house. It was the last game of the season and the kids always have fun being at the games. Then we ordered pizza, made some popcorn and watched a movie together as a family. J just went to fill up the humidifier and the handle on the bathtub broke so he has to go to the store and get a new one now. I am just hoping that it will be something that is easy to fix and there are no complications. Oh yeah at the game one of the highschool girls was talking to Monkey about school. She asked him who his teacher was and his friends. He said, "Titus is my best buddy and we are both the same years old." I thought that was really cute. Not too exciting of an update but this is our life :)
