Resolved for now

The money has been returned to GG and an apology given. However the bullying stuff hasn't been even talked about. I am trying to figure out where to go from here. I don't want my daughter to stop playing with this little girl completely as it is obvious she needs a good friend. However I don't want this friendship to be one of do this or I'm telling on you. Apparently yesterday at school she told another one of her friends that she couldn't play with Rachel because she stole her money. And in a way it was a great starter for a converstaion about how this Rachel needs grace, mercy and love. How GG could show her those and be her friend but that if she is going to bully her into doing something then she needs to speak up and tell her to stop. Then tell the teacher what is going on. Also about how telling the other girl was wrong and she shouldn't have done that. Her teacher talked to her about it today as well so hopefully she learned that lesson! If anything major happens I'm sure I'll be blogging about it.

So tonight is the concert and my stomach is so sore from COUGHING! I tried to get a nap today but Peanut fell asleep on the way home from Bible study and only slept 30 minutes once we got home. I'm praying that I will be non grumpy at the end of the concert!!! But I'm also really looking forward to spending some time with my hubby even if I'm still sickly.

Wonderful Day

Today was wonderful all around! I woke up with my hubby still in bed at 8am. I asked him if he was going to work and he said at noon. So we spent the morning together. Then he went to work and the kids and I went to the pool for the afternoon. It was so much fun. I got some videos of the kids at the pool and a few pictures. But I'm at the laptop and the camera battery is low so I will have to post them later when I can get on the desk top to upload them. Anyways, we left the pool at 4pm and about 10 minutes after we got home J walked in the door. I made dinner for the kids and my step-mom and J and I went out on a date! We went out to eat at a bar and grill with really yummy food, then we walked to a piano bar and listened to the music, after we left there we were going to get ice cream but we ended up running into a high school buddy of J's and we talked to him for awhile. Instead of getting ice cream we ended up going to Lowe's for a new door knob one with a lock on it. Our kids don't know how to knock! They are a little too old to see us naked after showers. Anyways then we went to wal*mart to get a tent shade for Peanut's party. J has been wanting one for awhile and we have a good reason to get one now that we are having a party and will be having parties at our house in years to come seeing as 3 of the 4 kids have warm weather birthdays! Then we came home. See it was a wonderful day ALL. DAY. LONG.

Of all the days!

Last night before I went to bed J said that he would get up with the kids and take them to their last day of VBS so that I could sleep in. He knows that these last few weeks I have had a hard time sleeping due to the pregnancy and needing to use the bathroom at least 2 times a night. Well this morning soon after the kids woke up the city started to working outside and it was extremely loud. There goes my morning of getting to sleep in. Thank. You. Very. Much!

I didn't get on here yesterday because our day was very packed. Got up took kids to VBS and then to the car dealer to look at some more used cars. And I am very excited to announce that we finally bought one! We got a 2001 Toyota Camry with 38000 miles. We are both happy about the car and price we paid. These are very nice cars that can run over 200,000 miles so maybe this will be the car GlamorGirl learns how to drive with?!

Also we had a great date the other night. We went to this little coffee shop and each got a smoothie because those were the only drinks without caffeine. Then we went to see Bourne Ultimatum it was a good movie. It did make me a little sick during the action scenes because they were so fast and the camera was bouncy, but other than that it was good.

Another Doctor Appointment

This morning I had another appointment to see if baby girl flipped. They also checked to see if I have started to dilate. Well she hasn't flipped and I was told that she probably won't flip on her own because of the location of her feet. Which means I have to keep doing the exercises and help guide her in the direction she should move, not fun. But during the ultrasound she stuck her tongue out at us, it was too funny! Then I was told I am 1 to 2 centimeters dilated so that was good. Also I didn't gain any weight over the last 7 days which surprised me because we went to Old Country Buffet for lunch yesterday and I stuffed myself like always! I have another appointment next Tuesday and they will check everything again.

Other than that we aren't having any success with the car buying which is stressful and I am too exhausted to even tell you what we have been through the last few days.

On a happier note, J is taking me on a date! We are going to be leaving in a few minutes.

Saturday

I am more awake right now then last time I posted. I thought I would tell you a little more of what GlamorGirl's class did on Friday. We went to a nursing home and visited with the grandmas and grandpas there. The kids made gifts to hand out after they sang to them. GG gave her gift to a grandma named Hazel. I could tell she was scared to talk to them so I got down on her level and started talking to GG about somethings that we could tell the grandmas. We ended up talking to Hazel and Vivan the lady next to her. By the time we left GG wasn't scared of the *old people* and was wanting to give them all a hug. It was a good experience for her and I am glad I was there to help in the uneasy situation for her. I didn't bring my camera so I didn't get any pictures :(

Last night we went to an Irish Pub and had some really good food and I even got a mixed drink with dinner. The owner came and sat with us for about 10 minutes which was nice. J goes in there while he is working sometimes. Then we went bowling. That was so fun. I won the first game 115 to 108 then J won the second game 171 to 103. I was happy that I broke 100 both games!!! Then we headed over to Starbucks and got drinks and talked for along time. Our date lasted 3 1/2 hours. It was a great time. Our babysitter, Jess, brought over cookies to make with the kids. When we got home there were cookies that they decorated. I really don't want to lose her as a sitter.

Today we have been cleaning, the kids each got hair cuts and baths, J and I started going through the Christmas presents already bought to figure out who we have left to shop for and if the kids need anything else. I believe we are half way done so that is a good feeling. Right now I am trying to decide if I should take the kids to Wal-mart or wait until Monday when they are in school and if we should go to church tonight.

A NAP! A NAP!

I got to take a nap today. Can you tell how excited I am about that? I couldn't tell you the last time I took one of them. At least a year?!?! I just woke up so I am feeling a little sleepy still but once I get some food and a drink in me I will be ready to go.

J is taking me out tonight for my birthday, which is next Tuesday. We will be pretty busy that day! He wanted to take me to see the Blue Man Group but silly me said I didn't think it would be a good idea. You see, this morning Red was with a sitter so that I could go on GG's field trip and help out in her class for the Harvest Party. Then J told me he wanted to take me out for my birthday just the two of us. I totally would of gone to Blue Man if J was the one that watched Red this morning. It would be a really long day for Red if our date was an hour drive, a 2 hour show, plus dinner. Instead we are going out to eat around our house and then bowling. I love bowling and haven't done that in a long time either. I will feel much more relaxed this way. I told him I do want to see Blue Man so maybe for my 30th which is in two years. Sorry you aren't getting pictures today either because my nap won my time. Now I need to go pretty myself for my date with my hubby. Later...

A day to Celebrate LOVE...

Well Monkey was still feeling a little under the weather this morning when he woke up even though if you were to ask him he would say he was fine. We were suppose to go to a pumpkin farm but since it is cold outside and Monkey isn't 100% better we took the kids to the store and let them pick out pumpkins. They had fun and that's all the matters at this stage in the game, right? We aren't carving them today we are going to wait til after J's surgery.

Tonight J and I are going to a wedding reception. We skipped out on the wedding because it was 40 minutes from our house and then we would of had to drive a little over an hour to get to the reception, which is about 25 minutes from our house. I just got done doing my hair and now I am going to go do my make-up and get dressed and then go and have fun with my hubby dancing! So I'm outta here...

I got to go on a date!

Yesterday was really fun. I left the house, under the impression that we were going to the store to buy a new ceiling fan for Monkey's room. Come to find out J surprised us with lunch at Photo's. That was cool but I was really excited about getting a fan for Monkey's room that actually worked so after we ate we did go buy one. Came home and J installed it with very little help from me. Then our sitter came over and we went on our real date. At first the plan we to go roller skating, but J thought there would be a lot of kids there being a Friday night. So we decided to go to the park and listen to the bands playing and drink some Starbucks. On our way to Starbucks we passed by a really yummy smelling restaurant and decided to stop and eat there. Then we sat and listen to the band for only 10 minutes because they were pretty bad. We finally got Starbucks and went to a quite park so we could talk. It was a good date, it is just nice to be alone with J uninterrupted conversation and so on. Right now J is getting Monkey's big bike ready to teach him how to ride without training wheels. I'm going to go watch...

Target Practice!

We didn't end up taking the kids to the zoo because of the weather. But we still had a fun day. Tuesday was super busy crazy!!! We had playgroup at our house and we celebrated Red and Cameron (they are 4 days apart) birthdays. GG had gymnastics that afternoon and then J and I went out on a date. He took me to the department and we shot at targets. I did pretty well. I actually shot more then 2 times. Last time he took me I was pregnant with Red and I was scared the vibration from the gun going off was going to hurt him. Silly, I know, but I still thought it! This time I rocked it, J was almost scared :) Today's excitement was after we picked up the kids from school we went out to eat at Jimmy's. Yummy, food!!! Well that's it for now.

Waiting patiently

The kids are being so good waiting for grandma and grandpa to get here with their Easter presents before they head out to see my brother, Kevin's family. I don't even know where to start! Last night was absolutely AMAZING. J and I had so much fun on our date. We are not one of those couples that sit at dinner and just eat. We talked and laughed, we have always had really good communication in our relationship. The food at the restaurant was the best Mexican food I've ever eaten and we have leftovers...score. After dinner we walked around holding hands and trying to lose the extra weight we just put in our tummies :) I am going to make a point to make a date night at least once a month with J. If GlamorGirl gets once a month I should too!

Now I want to take some time to elaborate on Red's happenings. Now that he can crawl diapering has taken a whole new life. As soon as the diaper comes off and he thinks I am done wiping him. He flips over and crawls away naked. Since we have been outside alot I have put Red in the grass to see what he does. His reaction the first time was PRICELESS. I don't think he liked the feel of it but after a few days sitting in it I believe he has gotten used to the feel. He has now started to eat it, he has created a new food group for his diet. First it was mud and now he added grass! He *loves* the swing. At the park yesterday I put him in the baby swing and he was laughing and smiling the whole time. When I went to take him out he threw his head back in protest. He has a stubborn streak to him. I just can't believe he is going to be 11 months on Monday. Another thing he has been doing lately that just cracks the neighborhood up is whenever he hears laughter he starts laughing. When we sit outside with the neighbors and we all start laughing there is Red laughing right along. Which, of course, makes everyone laugh even harder because he is just too stinkin cute when he does that.

GG and Monkey don't have school today for Good Friday, and neither one of them slept in for me. I don't think it helped that J got up at 6:45am! The plan is that after the grandparents leave we head over to the library and then the park district to sign them each up for a summer activity. The rest of the day we will probably spend outside playing until J gets home. I am so happy it is nice out. I need to get the kids summer clothes out soon. Well I'm outta here.....

Sleeping AGAIN!!!

Now that the weather is nice the only time I can get on here is when they are all sleeping! We have been having so much fun outside. We have gone to a few soccer games and yesterday we went fishing. Red was funny because it was windy out and he was swatting at the wind, he finally realized it wasn't going to go away. GG and Monkey were funny to watch when people caught fish. They got so excited and were jumping up and down and running around. The only downside to fishing was that J lost his cell phone. But we still plan on going again! Today we had lunch with some friends and then went to the park afterwards. Tonight J and I are going on a DATE. I am so excited. We aren't even taking Red with us :) Well I need to go get some stuff done while the babes are sleeping :) I hope everyone has a Great Easter. Remember what it is truly about...Jesus dying on the cross for our sins and then 3 days later rising from the dead. He loves us so much that he died for our sins.

The past few days have been absolutely beautiful outside so that is where the kids and I have been. We have racked a lot of leaves just to play in :) Today after church I took GG to pizza hut to redeem her "book it" personal pan pizza. We gave her a choice if she wanted to go with just me or J or the whole family. She wanted to spend time with just me so J had the two boys. Later we are going to my dad's and they are going to watch the kids while J and I go on a date. Well I'm outta here!

Thursday, October 20, 2005

Now that it is a day later, I will finish my post I had to go to school to bring J's his lunch that he had forgot to bring, he was subbing. So I grabbed food for the kids too and we ate at school with him. Then last night J and I went out on a date. Jess came over to watch the kids, they really like her too. We went to see Flight Plan and then out to eat. Ok if you are thinking, wow they must of spent a ton of money, we didn't. I got a free movie ticket and concession card at the end of last year from one of my students = free movie, popcorn, and drink. We went to eat at Chipotle and J had a coupon for a free burrito there that we used. We got home and J took Jess home and I gave the kids baths. When J got home the kids were in bed and so he started wrestling with me. My nose hurts today. He threw me on the bed and started tickling me and when I went to get up his head hit my nose. Then we both started laughing as tears ran down my face, I couldn't help it. I laid back down on the bed and Red then kicked me in the nose. He thought it was funny too and his little arms and legs were going as fast as they could. It was funny but my nose hurts today! This morning we all got up and got ready. J went on GG's field trip to the (I forgot the name) Nature Center. And I took Red to his 5 month check up. He is 26 inches and 17 lbs 7 oz, what a big boy. He didn't get a shot today because she thought he might be coming down with something from looking in his nose. He does sound a little congested. But other than that he looks happy and healthy. We don't have to go back until he is 8 months old. Later today the kids have Cubbies and we need to go grocery shopping. J has been debating weather or not he is going to attend a batcheral party. That word doesn't look right but I don't want to look it up. He goes between going and staying home to make the kids Halloween customs. I don't think I mentioned this yet but the kids are going to be M & M's this year. GG is going to be a yellow mega m&m, Monkey a green normal m&m, and Red a red mini m&m. They are going to look super cute in their customs. I'm going to make sure to take pictures this year. Last year with being pregnant I had a brain spasm and I don't have any pictures of them in their customs. Ok my family is home I want to hear all about GG's field trip so later!

So today is Sunday...I last updated on Thursday. Hmmm where did the time go? I have to keep this quick because J is cleaning the house and wants my help. So Friday we went to see Liz play her last volleyball game against another team. Tuesday they play their parents, J is playing in the place of their dad. We are going to go watch the game and cheer J on.

Saturday J worked so the kids and I went to the library in the morning. It was fun they had a drop in craft project. It was a spider. So they each made one to bring home. They took turns on the computer and played with the other games. On the walls of the library there is a outdoors scene, there is a tree with a raccoon in it. Monkey wanted to touch the raccoon and I told him it would bite him. He looked at me and said, "Mommy it is a pretend raccoon." Can't get anything by him these days! Then we picked out books and movies. On the way out I realized that they had a leap pad for the kids to use. Next time we go one can be on the computer and the other can do the leap pad. We got home had lunch with J (he came home to eat) and then both kids took naps. But not at the same time! While Monkey slept GG and I worked on her homework. While GG slept Monkey and I played in the toy room together. So that was fun. When J got home we went to the grocery store to pick out some food. Oh and Monkey decided that our cordless phone belonged in the kitchen sink. It fell right into a dish filled with water. We need to go buy a new one now. Ooops! Here is another Monkey story...while we were playing he was pretending to be a doctor and took the tool that you use to look in ears and noses put it up to my ear and said, "No monkey's in there mommy!" It was very funny. Then I remembered that is what the doctor said at their last appointment when she looked in their ears. What a smartie. The other thing that was interesting today was that the door bell rang and when I answered it there was a lady outside asking me if the house was still for sale. Umm...we have lived here for 3 months now. It was off the market about 4 months ago once we made the contract.

Today is Joe and Sue's anniversary! So Happy Anniversary to you two! We went to church this morning and now we are in the process of cleaning the house. Tonight my dad and step-mom are taking the kids out for dinner, at McDonalds with a playland. J and I are going to hopefully go to the department and shoot. We'll see...not really my idea of fun.

Yesterday J and I went on a date. We went to see the movie the Passion of the Christ. I cried...a lot. I wanted to yell "stop" when they were beating Jesus but I knew we were in the theater so I didn't. The kids played at grandma and grandpa A's. So today GG told me that she wanted J and I to go on another date so she could play at grandma's house again. They both had a lot of fun playing there! So we might just do that again! It also helps that we got in the movie FREE! One of the perks of being a police officer :) Today after I got home from work we went to GG's dance class. After Monkey took his nap we went to the hospital to see our friend Jackie. She was having surgery. We got there and she was still in surgery so we talked with her parents. Didn't get to see her but told her parents to tell her we came. Then we came home and spent time as a family, I love doing that. I just love J's days off!!! I forgot to say that Monkey has started saying his name! J said he has been doing that for about 2 weeks but being the little stinker he is he will only say his name for his daddy. But he is saying other people's names now too. Like he says "Jackie" and "Ellie". Well I could go on about my kids like always but I am going to end this so I can get Monkey to sleep! Goodnight ALL!!

Friday, October 17, 2003

So last night we ate at the A's. J's mom defrosted what she thought was chili. Well it wasn't. We thought it was bad...because we thought it was suppose to be chili. It turned out to be meatballs and sour krout! GG said, "grandma's chili taste like feet." J and I thought that was pretty funny. I don't know how many feet she's been eating :) Then J and I had a date night after dinner. That was fun.

Now on to today. We got up and ready for the day. My friend Kristen called. If you are reading this Kristen I miss you so much. It was nice to really talk to you about stuff. Then as we were getting ready to leave my brother Travis called. He really just wanted to talk to the kids. We had a play date with Isabel and her kids. She made lunch...it was chicken chili...never had that before and it was good. I also got to hold Ava she's only 8 weeks old. I love the baby smell. GG and Annie really got along great. Annie is a year older than GG. They were pretty funny together. One of them had to go to the bathroom so they both went. They are starting that pretty early ;) They really took to each other right away. Within about a minute of walking in the door they were talking about being friends. How sweet. J and I had fun talking to Isabel about CLA stuff. That is the school were we are sending the kids, it is in the town J works. Or at least for pre-kindergarten thru 1st grade. We got home about 4:30pm and then J made dinner. What a great hubby I have! We have been spending the rest of J's time off hanging out as a family. Tomorrow starts his next 6 days of work. Well I'm going to go back to snuggling with GG while she watches Veggie Tales.

Saturday, August 09, 2003

Today we all slept in it was great. This morning J and GG went to get his truck tires rotated. They came home and I gave Monkey his first hair cut. I didn't do the greatest of jobs but it was getting long and needed cut. Next time hopefully will be better. I think I will do it while he is sleeping :) We took the kids over to the K's house at around 12:30pm and then J and I got Subway and rented Just Married. That was our date. We went home ate and watched a movie just the two of us. It was awesome. Then we picked up the kids and ended up talking until after 5pm. Came home made dinner and Monkey and J went to Wal-mart while I gave GG her first hair cut. It looks so much better now. So both the kids had a first on the same day. Something they will always share! That is about it...oh wait I wanted to tell you how cute GG was yesterday when J came home. She walked up to him and said, "Did you have fun at cop school, Daddy?" He said yes and she said, "Oh good" and she was off to play. What a funny little girl.
